HTL Corporate Social Responsibility Statement
At HTL we recognise and accept our commitment to act responsibly and ethically in all business practices. As a business we encourage all staff to acknowledge and act in line with these commitments in all interactions with stakeholders whether they be; colleagues, customers, suppliers, visitors, competitors, local communities and the environment as a whole. HTL have demonstrated their obligation to remain responsible by implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 18001 Health & Safety Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management & Investors in people. Below details further how HTL and its staff exercise their commitments to act responsibly and execute best corporate practice at all times.
Environment
Here at HTL we pride ourselves on our recycling policies to ensure our operations do not impact the environment. 100% of our paper and cardboard waste is recycled and our hazardous waste is disposed of in a regulated drainage system where it can be recycled in the correct manner.
The packaging used at HTL has been selected to be biodegradable allowing the end user to remain environmentally friendly and responsible when disposing HTL’s packaging.
HTL have invested in two biomass boilers to provide the heat source for our Corporate Headquarters which is a green renewable energy reducing our carbon footprint considerably.
Community Involvement
At the end of each profitable year HTL make a donation to Jessica’s Sarcoma Awareness which is a local charity that raises money for Teenage Cancer Trust & Sarcoma UK as well as buying gifts for other children in hospital fighting cancer. During the year HTL and Staff also actively participate in, and arrange various events which are also aimed at raising the profile as well as money for Jessica’s Sarcoma Awareness.

The success of HTL as a controlled bolting supplier and manufacturer is a result of our People. We look to recruit, retain and reward the talent pool within our business for their efforts. We also recognise the necessity to fund and provide our employees with continuous training opportunities to meet the development needs of our employees and organisation.
