Product Description

The No-Flog ® backing spanner is a safe, self-supporting, and revolutionary hands free tool that eliminates the need to use a flogging spanner as a backing tool. The No-Flog ® backing spanner is spark free (unlike flogging spanners), has been specifically designed to avoid locking onto the application during bolt torquing operations. This self-supporting and hands free tool, which comes with an integrated safety tether, will save you time and money by speeding up the bolting process and directly improve operator safety.

No-Flog – The Safe Alternative to Flogging Spanners

This unique tool can be used to stop back nuts turning during the make up or break out of bolted flanges and joints up to 4 5/8” A/F. Each tool covers two bolt sizes in one and is quickly and easily fitted and removed.

HTL’s No-Flog ® range is available in sizes from 1 1/16” A/F (27mm A/F) up to 4 5/8” A/F (120mm A/F), however non standard customer requirements can also be met. Standard imperial and metric kits are also available.
