Pistol Grip Pneumatic Wrench

Pneurotorque Pistol Grip Pneumatic Wrenches provide a smooth and continuous output drive, which can be controlled using an Air Pressure Regulator , called the Lubro Control Unit. Using the supplied graph, the air pressure can be set to stall out with a repeatability of +/- 5% on any given joint.

The pistol grip wrench is comfortable and safe for the user to operate, due to its non-impacting, low-vibration levels as well as its gear box, which has the ability to rotate independently. This means that reaction forces are not transmitted back to the operator , when they are using the product. As well as these features, the product has a wide range of special properties:

• It is extremely powerful and works at up to 6000NM
• It is capable of operating at less than 6 bar
• It has changeable forward and reverse functions
• Its non-impacting pistol grip reduces user fatigue
• It is relatively quiet and never exceeds 85dB (A)
• It has soft start trigger controls, allowing for easy socket location and gradual reaction take up
• The optional automatic 2-speed gear box reduces
bolt run down time

The Pneurotorque pistol grip pneumatic wrench is engineered to be one of the most lightweight and fast tools of its type on the market. The exceptionally compact diameter of the gear box means that the tool is well balanced and provides excellent access to bolts. When the product is rented to a customer , an accompanying package is provided. This package contains a Filter Lube Control, Inter-connecting Hose and a Peli Protection Box, as well as its own Calibration Certification and Pressure Torque Graph.

Lubro Control Unit

HTL ’s Lubro Control Unit filters, lubricates and regulates the supply of air to Pneurotorque Wrenches.

Nose Extensions

Special Nose Extension reaction devices have been developed for use in situations where tool access is restricted. An example of typical application would be on the rear wheel nuts on heavy vehicles.
