Bolt Tensioning Equipment
Hydraulic Bolt Tensioners
Hydraulic Bolt Tensioners
We offer the ultimate Bolt Tensioning equipment for all Flanges, which are designed specifically for Oil and Gas Applications. They are made from high strength AISI 4340 Steel Components for long lasting performance.
Hydraulic Bolt Tensioner TRT
The TRT operates at a maximum pressure of 21,750PSI/1500bar .
All models are able to stroke 15mm floating pistons for small alignment compensation. Bolt coverage ranges from 1”-3½”, with three tools in the interchangeable adapter kits available for both Metric and Imperial sizes. The anti- slip tool surface improves operator grip as well as increasing safety.
All exterior surfaces are knurled to allow for easy handling and larger sizes on offer include eye bolts for additional support. The option of incorporating an ultrasonic measurement system is also available. The dual port design makes operation twice as fast as a single port tensioner , as well as simplifying hose connection and eliminating tee-block.
Specific design features for oil and gas operations:
- The TRT tensioners fit all standard API ANSI B16.5 and compact flanges
- Special series concepts for all B7, L7 and B16 studs bolts
- Light - weight, compact and versatile line of tensioners
- Safety first: overpressure and overstroke full protection
Portable Hydraulic Power Pack
Air Operated Power Packs are compact and robust, self-contained units that are designed to meet the needs of the current offshore Oil and Gas Industry, where reliable sources of hydraulic power are required.
Each pack contains: a Pump - complete with Air Filter , a Regulator , a Lubricator , an Air Gauge, an On/off Valve, a Hydraulic Pressure Gauge and Protective Gauge Cover , an Outlet Pressure Connector Block, a Release Valve and Interconnecting Pipework.
All of this equipment is mounted inside a robust, steel, painted framework, together with an 8.5 litre fluid tank with a filter breather and strainer . Each unit is factory pressure tested and calibrated prior to despatch.
Standard Power Packs are designed for plain water or oil duties. Typical applications include Hydrostatic Testing and Tensioning. The design of the socket allows Tensioners to fit all upside-down applications.
