From small beginnings...
HTL started trading in 1994 from premises no larger than the average double garage and with only two employees. Since then we have grown in every area of our business and have almost 50 staff across 3 UK facilities Aberdeen, Manchester and Cramlington. In addition we have engineers based throughout the UK offering service and support, 24 hours-a-day, every day!
Our once small and homely Head Office has recently moved into an expansive 65,300ft² purpose built operation that boasts state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Our Corporate HQ, can now deliver;

Due to on-going investment and the dedication of our team, this has led to unprecedented growth and seen HTL stock one of the largest rental fleets of Bolt Torquing and Tensioning Equipment in Europe. Our service offered, includes the facilities and technical expertise to support not only our own equipment but also our customers on a global scale. Whilst supplying controlled bolting equipment for both sale and hire, HTL can now also supply specialist on-site Bolting Services and dedicated Torque and Tensioner ECITB Training or bespoke a dedicated HTL training package to suit each and every customer requirements.
Recently HTL have designed the most innovative Torque Tooling to date, combining unrivalled bolting expertise gained from working for many years in numerous industries, from The Power Generation to Offshore and Subsea. The ‘HTL-W’ Hydraulic Torque Wrench is unbelievably versatile, combining, the Standard Ratchet Link, Square Drive and Ultra Low, making this the most versatile 3 in 1 Hydraulic Torque Wrench ever!
And due to the wrench being designed, manufactured and assembled here in the UK, it is CE Approved and unlike the majority of our competitors it is also ATEX Approved, of which will be a huge benefit when working in volatile environments.
Along with teaming up with Official HTL Partners in Iraq, Kazakhstan and Malaysia and Indonesia to service the South East Asia Oil and Gas Industry. HTL are also proud to announce a new edition to the HTL umbrella; HTL Benelux. HTL Benelux is now open and able to provide the same extensive HTL portfolio of products and specialist services specifically for customers operating in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Another division of HTL is ‘HTL-Hydrapress Ltd’. HTL Hydrapress are dedicated to the design, manufacture and supply of high pressure equipment, the likes of hydraulic power packs, valve test benches, high pressure pumps hose test rigs, and are wholly committed to providing an excellent service and a quality product worldwide!
Unlike other bolting and high-pressure equipment suppliers, HTL are renowned for our customer first ethic, we understand customer care, service and building lasting relationships is our Number One priority, this is why on a global scale HTL strive to increase and improve our customer service and are constantly looking to incorporate this by teaming up with like-minded companies.
